Connecting with Merage School MBAs

There are a variety of ways to build your presence and connect with Merage MBAs on campus or at your location. Whether you are across the globe or right next door, the MBA Career Center will work closely with you to develop a recruiting strategy tailored to meet your organization’s specific needs. Consider the following options:

Conduct On-Campus Presentations

On-Campus presentations are an informal way to provide students with information about your organization and employment opportunities and can be most effective when done in conjunction with conducting interviews on campus. These sessions are typically 50 minutes in length and are held during the noon hour. Evening presentations that include networking activities may also be arranged. On-campus information sessions begin in early October.  Contact us for details.

Host a Company Site Visit & Tour

Inviting our students to visit your company to meet with your executives and tour your facility is a great way to introduce them to your company and culture. These visits can be arranged by the MBA Career Center or through student clubs. Contact us to discuss how this can work best for you.

Offer Summer Internships

A student who has had a productive summer internship can serve as your company's greatest ambassador and best full-time hire upon graduation. Interviewing for summer interns begins on-campus in January and continues throughout the winter and spring quarters. Summer internships are typically 10-12 weeks in length and can also take place during the school year on a part-time basis.   [UCI Merage MBA Internship Recruiting Guide.pdf]

Participate in Workshops and Mock Interviews

We invite experienced business professionals to participate in career awareness workshops to share their industry perspectives and give advice on job search tactics, networking, interviewing, and career management topics. During the winter and spring quarters we invite industry representatives to participate in behavioral mock interviews. Both activities are a great way to build your company’s presence on campus. Contact us for more details.

Participate in our annual MBA Career Fair

Consider our annual career fair to recruit for full-time and internship opportunities. Typically held on the second Friday in April, this event is a great way to gain exposure to hundreds of MBA candidates all in one day.
