Who We Are

The Dean’s Leadership Circle has become a high-power professional network with close to 400 members. We are proud to be the fastest growing academic support group of any school on the UC Irvine campus. Our members are from a wide array of backgrounds such as industry executives, entrepreneurs, financial experts and more – we are all leaders in the business community. Our membership consists of:

The DLC's mission is "to grow a vibrant business community while helping to advance the Merage School to the top tier of business schools across the country." Since inception, the DLC has raised $2.7 million in pledges all of which have been directed to targeted areas within the Merage School, most recently a $1 million endowed professorship, which should be approved and announced very soon. Overall, DLC contributions have helped to increase the Merage School's endowment, from $5 million in 2004 to over $23 million to date! All of us have demonstrated our commitment to helping the Merage School become a top-tier business school by providing critically needed philanthropic support for the most critical initiatives.
