Recruiting Policies
First Round and Campus Interviews
Interviews may be scheduled Monday through Friday and typically run from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the MBA Career Center. Extended hours are available upon request.
2nd year or graduating candidate interviews for career positions begin on-campus October 3rd. Companies may interview candidates for full-time positions at off-campus locations beginning August 30th.
1st year interviews for summer internship positions begin on-campus January 9th. Companies may host information sessions and other informational events with 1st years for internship positions on-campus beginning November 1st. Companies may interview 1st years for internship positions at off-campus locations beginning December 15th.
Second Round Interviews
Second round interviews typically take place at the employer’s location. However, the interview rooms in MBA Career Center may also be used. We recommend that you coordinate your second round interviews with our academic calendar to ensure that you avoid scheduling conflicts that may cause students to miss class, especially during midterm and final exam weeks. We request that you keep all students abreast of the interviewing process and provide them with adequate time to schedule next round interviews so they may avoid class conflicts.
Extending Job Offers
We believe it is important to allow candidates adequate time to make thoughtful decisions on job offers. It is important that the student and the company negotiate a mutually agreeable time frame for considering and making a career decision. We recommend giving graduating students until December 15th or at least three weeks from the time a written offer is provided, whichever is later. First-year students should be given until February 15th, or at least one week from the time a written offer is provided, whichever is longer, to decide on an internship offer.
