The Paul Merage School of Business
Faculty Position in Accounting
The Paul Merage School of Business at the University of California, Irvine is seeking candidates for one position as a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Accounting to begin July 1, 2010. We will consider candidates in all areas, although preference may be given to those who can teach managerial accounting over those teaching financial accounting.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Required qualifications include a demonstrated interest in and capacity to do research publishable in top-tier accounting journals, a high level of teaching competence, and an earned doctorate (entry-level candidates can be near completion). We offer a competitive compensation package.

Faculty Position in Operations and Decision Technologies
The Paul Merage School of Business at the University of California, Irvine is seeking candidates to fill one position as a tenure-track Assistant Professor in the Operations and Decision Technologies area to begin July 1, 2010. We are looking for candidates with a strong research record or strong potential. Commitment to excellent UG, MBA and PhD teaching is required, as well as the possession of a PhD in a relevant discipline. Salaries are commensurate with experience.

Faculty Position in Strategic Management
The Paul Merage School of Business at the University of California, Irvine is seeking candidate to fill a tenure-track assistant professor position in Strategy for fall of 2010. All interested applicants must have an earned doctorate (entry level candidates can be near completion) and are actively conducting research who can teach core and elective courses in strategy. We are interested in both newly minted doctoral students as well as senior assistant level scholars.
The Merage School is recognized internationally as being among the world’s top 50 business schools. Current faculty strategy members include Philip Bromiley, Yan Gong, Margarethe Wiersema, and Yu Zhang.
