Stephen Marlow was appointed executive vice president of Toshiba America Electronic Components, Inc (TAEC) in October 2000. TAEC is the America’s arm of the world’s 3rd largest semiconductor company. In this role,Marlow joined the president of TAEC, in overseeing the company's strategic direction and performance.
Marlow has held multiple positions within Toshiba (spanning marketing, sales and operational disciplines) since he began his employment with the company more than 25 years ago.
Over the years,Marlow's industry insights have been featured in numerous articles. These include in-depth published works on the memory device market, global supply chain management, and the industry’s environmental (Lead(Pb)- Free) initiative.
Marlow’s community commitment includes involvement with the University of California, Irvine (UCI); as a member of the Chancellor’s Chief Executive Roundtable; as a member of the Dean’s advisory board at The Paul Merage School of Business; and as a member of the advisory board of the School of Social Ecology’s Center for Unconventional Security Affairs. Marlow is also a board member of the Orange County Business Council.
Marlow received a B.A. from the University of Otago in Dunedin, New Zealand.
