Dimensional Fund Advisors
Vadim works with northern California financial advisors to help them learn the academic theory applied by Dimensional in capital markets and ways to implement portfolio solutions, and offers guidance in building the advisors' businesses. Vadim first joined Dimensional in 2005, working for the International Portfolio Management and Trading group doing portfolio and cash reconciliation. In 2007, he moved to the Research department, where he helped ensure the vendor data utilized in portfolio management was accurate and assisted with various data research projects.
State Street Global Advisors
Sonya Park is a Vice President of State Street Global Advisors and a Senior Relationship Manager (CalSTRS) in the San Francisco Office. She is a strong advocate for finding gender balance in the financial services industry. At SSGA she has worked internally and externally to remove gender bias from decision making, which leads to more inclusive teams and the potential for better results. Sonya is responsible for managing existing SSGA client relationships and driving new business development in the Western U.S.
Mr. Auer served as Executive Director since October 2011 of CORPaTH, an international coalition of defined benefit plan sponsors, trustees, and service providers dedicated to the sustainability of defined benefit retirement plans. Previously, he co-founded and served as President and CEO of quantitative investment manager Ten Asset Management. Earlier he served as Senior Vice President of Investment Research Company (later Freeman Investment Management), a quantitative investment manager of domestic equity portfolios and pioneer in long/short equity management.

John Goldstein is a Managing Director within Goldman Sachs Asset Management focused on ESG and Impact Investing. Previously John co-founded Imprint Capital Advisors, a leading impact investing firm that made over 125 impact investments across asset classes and mission areas for leading foundations, families and financial institutions. Prior to Imprint, John was a co-founder of Medley Capital, the manager of the Medley Opportunity Fund, a private credit fund with offices in New York, San Francisco, and Hong Kong.

Christopher Schwarz’s research interests include the management, disclosure, and operational risk of the investment fund industry and the impact of manager incentives and structure on investment fund performance. His research has been published in such leading academic journals as the Journal of Finance, the Journal of Financial Economics, the Review of Financial Studies, and the Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis and included in testimony before the U.S. Congress House Financial Services Committee.

Andrew J. Policano is the Dean's Leadership Circle Endowed Professor of Economics/Public Policy and Academic Director of the Center for Investment and Wealth Management (CIWM) at The Paul Merage School of Business, UC Irvine. Policano serves on the Board of Directors of two public companies, and he is an active member of the community. He is currently a member of the Investment Committee of the Orange County Community Foundation, The Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year Selection Committee, and the Forum for Corporate Directors Board Member of the Year Selection Committee.
