Veteran Entrepreneurship Program

Transformational business education and skills for entrepreneurs

Program for U.S. Military Veterans

Successful entrepreneurs understand that starting and running a business takes more than just offering clients innovative products and services. The most effective entrepreneurs not only recognize the importance of developing capabilities beyond innovating, including marketing and managing brand identity; they also demonstrate and sharpen key leadership abilities – build trust and confidence among employees, foster a culture of commitment and engagement, unleash initiative in others, think critically, make key decisions, and clearly communicate their ideas and vision.

The Veteran Entrepreneurship Program at The Paul Merage School of Business is a pioneer program designed to empower participants with the knowledge, strategies, and tools necessary to cultivate these critical leadership skills, and to be a catalyst for helping participants develop and advance their ideas forward through feedback, guidance, networking opportunities, and understanding how to navigate resource channels. This program is led by highly experienced faculty and thought leaders in the area of entrepreneurship and management from top-ranked UC Irvine.
