Application Fee Waiver

The Merage School waives the $150 application fee for all military, military dependents and U.S. veterans. Prior to submitting the admission application, contact Kristin Dalton via e-mail at kdalton@uci.edu.  The fee will then be waived in our system. Submission of the application should be done after the program office waives the application fee.

The Post 9/11 GI Bill will pay eligible individuals:

 

  • Full tuition & fees directly to the school for all public school in-state students.
  • Monthly Housing Allowance.
  • Annual books and supplies stipend of $1,000.

 

Applications are now being accepted for the Post–9/11 GI Bill benefit that is effective August 1, 2009. Individuals with active duty service since September 11, 2001 may be eligible for this benefit and can apply online at the United States Department of Veterans Affairs.

 

STUDENTS ENROLLING IN THIS PROGRAM CANNOT USE CAL VET TUITION/FEE EXEMPTIONS (also referred to as a “College Fee Waiver” or “Cal Vet Fee Waiver;”)  THIS PROGAM IS NOT SUPPORTED WITH STATE FUNDS AND IS NOT SUBJECT TO THE STATE LAW REGARDING CAL VET TUITION/FEE EXEMPTIONS.   


Admission Deferrals for Deployment
We provide a two-year deferment if admitted military students' academic plans are delayed by their service branch. In the case of deployment we guarantee the original tuition rate upon returning to the program
