Today, I could pick up the phone and talk with somebody I trust who is an expert in their field to give me practical advice on a problem. At Merage, you connect with so many sharp people. That’s the biggest benefit of the Executive MBA Program, and it is worth exponentially more than the tuition I paid for it.
The classroom experience was so dynamic, you can’t help but be engaged. The faculty, the format and your peers all come together to make classes very interesting. It would be hard not to pay attention.
Now that I have left Merage, I still find myself tapping into the resources there. I actively recruit for positions from Merage, I attend alumni events, and I keep in contact with my peers from class. Sometimes I wish I had another two years so I could continue to learn and interact with like minds.
It is a balancing act between work, family and school. It is a calculated sacrifice you have to make, but for a two-year period. After you do it for a few months, it becomes easier. Initially, your dedication keeps you going, and then you learn how to balance everything.
