 Professor Jurison’s research and teaching interests include IT project management, evaluation of IT benefits, IT outsourcing, and international IT issues. He has published numerous papers and co-edited two books: Information Systems in a Global Business Environment and Productivity in the Office and the Factory. He has served as senior editor of the Communications of AIS and Industry Editor of the Journal of Global Information Technology Management. Currently he is on the editorial review board of the Journal of Global Information Management.
Professor Jurison received his MBA degree and doctorate in management from The Peter F. Drucker and Masatoshi Ito Graduate School of Management, Claremont Graduate University. His business experience includes over 20 years of program and project management at Rockwell International Corporation ranging from small IT projects to multimillion international programs.
Professor Jurison holds also the position of Associate Professor Emeritus at Fordham University, New York, where he taught a variety of graduate, undergraduate, and executive level IS courses for more than 10 years and served as chair for Information and Communications Systems for five years. He has also served on the Board of Directors of the Society for Information Management’s New York Metro Chapter as Vice President for Academic Affairs. Currently he is on the Board of Visitors for the School of Information Systems and Technology at Claremont Graduate University.
