Kristin J. Behfar was a post-doctorate fellow at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Business before joining the Merage faculty in fall 2005. Professor Behfar has co-written book chapters and journal articles on conflict in organizational teams, managing groups and personalities of individuals, team negotiations, and the psychology of leadership and communication skills in management. Some of her papers have focused on the medical and telecommunications industries. She has presented papers at the Academy of Management, International Association for Conflict Management and American Evaluation Association. She holds masters and bachelors degrees in communications from Boston University.
