Professor Oskoorouchi is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Information Systems and Operations Management at the California State University San Marcos. He received his B.Sc. in Mathematics (1993) from Shiraz University, Shiraz, Iran; M.S. in Applied Mathematics (1996) from Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran; and PhD in Management Science (2002) from McGill University, Montreal, Canada.

Professor Oskoorouchi's research interests are focused on Optimization Theory and Operations Research, in particular Large Scale Optimization.
