Krista Neuhaus

Krista Neuhaus is a first-year student in the full-time MBA program. She is focusing her studies on Marketing and Brand Management. She is a member of the Marketing Association, Women In Business and Challenge For Charity. Krista holds a BS in Marketing and International Business from New York University Leonard Stern School of Business (2003). This summer Krista will work as a Strategic Marketing and Brand Management Intern at Advanced Medical Optics.
Krista has spent five years working at the forefront of her industry in Internet Marketing. During this time, she developed expertise in client management, and online media and search campaign execution and optimization. While living in New York City, she worked as a Senior Account Manager at Morpheus Media Interactive Agency, which was voted number 40 for Entrepreneur Magazine’s Top 500 Fastest Growing Businesses in America for 2007. At Morpheus Media, Krista worked with name brand clients such as Neiman Marcus, Horchow, and L’Oreal. Before attending business school, Krista moved to Miami to work as a media consultant for Media 8 Digital, which provides online media services for companies looking to target the US Hispanic and Latin American markets. At Media 8, she developed and implemented new communication and project execution processes for the media department. She also worked on the 2007 online campaigns for clients such as Hertz Car Rentals, Starwood Hotels and Unilever.
Krista decided to obtain her MBA to make the transition to the client side of the marketing industry. She chose the Merage program because of its robust course offerings in marketing and focus on strategic innovation. In addition, since Krista has never lived in California before, Merage’s small, highly involved community offered her both a professional and social support system to be successful in her transition from the East coast.
Outside of class, Krista enjoys running, rock climbing, traveling, and live music. She competed in the 26.2 Mile Cape Cod Marathon in 2006 and has traveled to 15 countries across Europe and South America. She also lived in Buenos Aires, Argentina for three years.
