Courtney Watts

Courtney Watts is a first year student in the Full-Time MBA program. She is focusing on Marketing and is the VP of Special Events for Challenge for Charity. Courtney received her Bachelor of Commerce from McGill University in Montreal, Quebec in 2006 with majors in Finance and Strategy.
After graduating from McGill University, Courtney accepted a position with PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Operational Effectiveness Practice in Toronto, Ontario. Courtney spent three years as a consultant at PwC where she helped telecommunication and utility companies investigate operational improvements and implement them. Courtney developed her leadership and communication skills through her experience working as a project manager, as well as through her work with large teams. In her free time, Courtney volunteered as a Big Sister for Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Canada.
Courtney chose The Paul Merage School for its small program size and focus on teamwork. She felt this environment would allow her to expand her network by developing close relationships with fellow students, professors and alumni. Additionally, the supportive and collaborative nature of the program provides ample opportunities to take on active leadership roles.
Outside of class, Courtney is exploring many of the outdoor activities Orange County has to offer such as surfing, beach volleyball and swimming.
