Matt Poladian MBA Class of 2010 matt.poladian@uci.edu
Matt Poladian is a second year Full-Time MBA student focusing on Organizational Behavior and Human Resources. He has a particular passion for ethics in business and corporate social responsibility. On campus, he is involved in the Consulting Club, Challenge for Charity, Net Impact, and Key Assets. Matt is VP of Communications for both Key Assets and the International Business Association.
Originally from Los Angeles, Matt graduated from Claremont McKenna College with a BA in International Relations and an emphasis in Leadership Studies. After college, he worked for an integrated marketing communications firm specializing in the foodservice industry. His clients included the State of Alaska, Foster Farms, and other food manufacturers.
Matt chose Merage because of its focus on ensuring students succeed. Merage prioritizes giving each student unique opportunities to learn critical skills both inside and outside the classroom. And, with only 200 students enrolled in the full-time program (100 in each class), he knew he would get individual attention from faculty, staff, and recruiters.
Outdoor activities are also an important part of Matt’s life. You may find Matt and his wife Jenny taking advantage of Irvine’s many hiking trails, bike paths, beaches, golf courses, and swimming pools.
Over the summer Matt began working as a Human Resources Intern at Beckman Coulter, a global leader in biomedical research. He continues to do work with Beckman Coulter to support key initiatives in the area of employee engagement.
