I chose UCI because everything about the program—the dynamic curriculum, the collaborative environment and the exceptional people—appealed to me from the moment I stepped on campus. From the flexibility and strength of the MBA Program to the sense of community demonstrated by the staff, faculty and current students, I knew the environment would help me be successful.
The smaller program encourages a close-knit student body where I'm not just another face in the crowd. I knew the small class size would be a higher-quality learning experience and also provide a wealth of leadership opportunities.

Making a Connection through the Centers of Excellence
I've utilized the Center for Global Leadership and Team Development for its exceptional Corporate Mentoring Program and have attended the Distinguished Speaker Series events.
I've really enjoyed the Distinguished Speaker Series, too—not only for its highly-regarded speakers, but also for the opportunity to interact with local business leaders in attendance. I walked away from my first Distinguished Speaker Series event even more excited about the two years ahead. Neel Grover, CEO of Buy.com, gave a powerful presentation that laid out the company's strategy and goals; the reception that followed gave me a rare opportunity to continue the conversation with him personally. It's an experience I'll never forget.
