Brandon Thomas is a second year student in the Full-Time MBA program focusing on Strategy and Finance.  Over the summer Brandon was an intern at Taco Bell Corporation in Strategic Planning & Analysis working on projects related to business planning and financial analysis.  Brandon is involved on campus as VP of Finance for Challenge for Charity as well as being an active participant in Net Impact.  Brandon holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance, graduating Cum Laude from the University of Utah. He is also bilingual, fluent in both Spanish and English, after having spent two years in the country of Ecuador involved in humanitarian service.

Prior to continuing his education, Brandon spent 4 years in the Financial Services industry with Fidelity Investments.  Brandon was engaged in numerous sales and management roles for the Personal and Workplace Investing division of Fidelity.  Throughout his time with Fidelity Investments Brandon constantly excelled and continually ranked in the top 10% of representatives by providing outstanding customer service, developing lifetime relationships with clients, and building cohesive teams.

Brandon chose The Paul Merage School of Business for its strong sense of community.  The students, faculty, and alumni here at Merage are extremely welcoming and friendly.  You feel as if you are part of a “family”, a family that is collaborative, close-knit, and highly engaging.  In addition, students enjoy all of the benefits of a nationally recognized program including a world-class education and excellent recruiting opportunities.

Outside of his career and educational pursuits, the most important aspect of Brandon Thomas’ life is his own family.  Brandon has been happily married to his wife Christine for 5 years and together they are raising their first child, Luke.  They are avid travelers and are constantly looking to experience new and exciting places.  They also love finding great restaurants and enjoying time with friends.
