Kelly Chen

Kelly Chen is a second year Full-Time MBA Student here at The Paul Merage School of Business at UC Irvine with a concentration in Real Estate and Strategy. Over the summer, she was a Client Representative Intern at IBM working on various projects ranging from Sales and Distribution to Strategy Consulting. She is the VP of External for the Merage Real Estate Association and the BioPharma Healthcare Association.

Prior to business school, Kelly was in the Financial Services industry doing financial planning. Kelly decided to attend the Merage School of Business for its small class size and great location in the business hub of Orange County.  She obtained her Bachelor’s degree from UC Irvine with a major in Sociology and a minor in Business Management. Interested in international business, Kelly also studied Business and Economics in Shanghai, China at Fudan University for six months during her undergraduate studies. 

Outside of school, Kelly enjoys working out, snowboarding, reading, and traveling. She is also involved with numerous non-profit organizations.
