A Day In the Life

What it’s like to be a student at Merage

I have been a student at Merage for almost 2 and a half years now. The experience is very different than my engineering undergraduate student life.

First and foremost, Merage makes things as easy as possible for working professionals by feeding us, gather up our books for us, and having a very attentive staff. On a day where I have class I normally leave the office around 5:30 so I can get to school by 6 and have an hour to eat dinner and catch up with fellow classmates. Often I go even earlier to attend club meetings or special events. However, on a typical day I work, have an hour of dinner and unwinding time then go to class for 3 hours.

Afterwards I go home, check my mail and try to be in bed by 11. On days when I don’t have class I work a bit later then go home and do homework…sometimes stopping on my way home at the mall to de-stress by spending my hard-earned money J On the weekends I usually try to go out either Friday or Saturday night (oftentimes with school friends). My days are usually spent doing homework, and catching up on school reading.
