Your business leadership and academic record can qualify you to receive financial assistance to help fund your Merage MBA. These merit-based scholarships, called fellowships, are awarded to high-achieving FEMBA students. Fellowship Recipients receive:
- Financial award between $7,000 and $15,000 applied towards admissions and fees over the first year of the FEMBA Program
- Small group dinners and regular personal involvement with Dean Andy Policano
- Exclusive invitations to Dean’s Leadership Circle Events
- Career Services Strategy & Visioning Workshop
- Invitations to exclusive events and dinners with members of the Dean’s Advisory Board
As an applicant to the FEMBA Program, you are automatically considered for a merit-based fellowship. Fellowships are based solely on academic performance and business experience and not on need. The Admissions Committee takes the following into consideration when making award determinations:
- Academic performance. Your GMAT score and undergraduate performance are strongly taken into consideration, as well as any additional academic certifications, or advanced degrees (MA, MS, JD, etc.)
- Professional work experience. Your career history should show a pattern of continuous advancement and significant contributions to your workplace.
- Committee evaluation. The Admissions Committee performs a qualitative evaluation of each FEMBA candidate, based on your interview for the program.
For questions regarding the merit-based fellowship program, please contact Melanie Coburn, Assistant Director of Admissions, at: mcoburn@merage.uci.edu or 949.824.7505.
