The Merage MBA core curriculum focuses on four key drivers of business growth that distinguish our graduates from other MBAs: strategic innovation, information technology, analytic decision making, and collaborative execution. Each of these themes is integrated into the core to help you build a solid foundation on which to effectively compete in today's global economy.
Another hallmark of the FEMBA program is teamwork. Students attend all of the core classes and the three off-site residentials with the students in their individual cohort. This model provides students with a collaborative and intense teamwork-driven environment.
The FEMBA Program consists of 21 courses, including nine core courses, nine electives, and three offsite experiential residentials, including one international residential trip. Students may enroll in the Fall or Spring. Most students complete the program from 24 to 33 months, depending on their schedule.
Spring entrants begin in March and complete the same program as Fall at an accelerated pace. Spring students attend classes for nine consecutive quarters, including summers. During the core curriculum, students attend two three-hour classes per week: Monday and Wednesday evenings (7-9:50pm). For the remaining quarters of the program, students take electives, which are offered Monday through Thursday evenings, Saturdays, and also hybrid and online options.
Fall entrants begin in September and attend classes for a total of nine quarters. Students can complete the program in 33 months (summers off) or in 24-27 months (summers included.) Entering Fall FEMBA students may select one of two program delivery options:
- On-campus: attend two three-hour classes per week. Scheduling options for the core courses are Tuesday and Thursday evenings (7-9:50pm). Electives are offered Monday - Thursday in the evenings (7-10pm) and also on Saturdays. On-campus students may enroll in online or hybrid elective courses as their schedules permit.
- Hybrid: Students in the hybrid section will access lectures online (60% of curriculum) and they will attend classes in-person on-campus for four Saturdays per quarter from 8:30-4:30pm (40% of curriculum). Students enrolled in the hybrid option will be able to take hybrid electives, online electives, or they can enroll in on-campus electives, based on their schedules and interest.
