Develop Your Financial Aid Game Plan

Funding your MBA can be a smooth, seamless process, thanks to the dedicated MBA counselors in our financial aid office. They can direct you to important resources, answer your questions, and process paperwork quickly and accurately.

A number of financial aid opportunities are available, including government and private loans. Financial aid is not based on need.

Financial Aid opportunities include:

FAFSA

  • The FAFSA application is required to apply for the Federal Direct Stafford Loan and Federal Direct Graduate PLUS Loan

Federal Direct Stafford Loan

  • Federally funded student loan
  • U.S. students and permanent U.S. residents are eligible to receive up to $20,500 per academic school year
  • Reasonable, fixed interest rate
  • Repayment begins six months after graduation
  • The Subsidized Stafford loan is based on financial need
  • The Unsubsidized Stafford loan is non-need based

Graduate PLUS Loan

  • Federally funded loan specifically for graduate students
  • Covers tuition costs not covered by Stafford Loan
  • Interest rate is fixed
  • Credit check required

Private Loans

  • Several options available for HCEMBA students
  • Variable interest rates, depending on student’s credit history
