Colloquia Events


The Research Colloquia provide a forum for interaction among faculty, students, and visitors interested in new ideas and applications to the fields of business and management.  The colloquium includes presentations by faculty from UC Irvine and other universities and research institutes. (Colloquia Events are open to the public unless otherwise noted.) Highly regarded professors have spoken on our campus, including:

The Assistant Professor Colloquia Series, which is organized by the Dean’s Office, provides each assistant professor the opportunity to a present a research paper on an annual basis in an informal setting to members of faculty and doctoral student community. This interaction allows for increased feedback for the pre-tenured faculty and it increases research communication and collaboration
