CDT is pleased to be a supporting organization for The Economist's Ideas Economy: Information Forum to be held on June 4th, 2013 in San Francisco.  This event will explore how businesses and organizations can harness the world's avalanche of information to unlock new forms of economic value. INTERVIEW ON THE DIGITAL REVOLUTION

CDT  AWARDED GRANT FROM NSF 

Vijay Gurbaxani, Director, Center for Digital Transformation, has been awarded a highly competitive planning grant as part of the NSF's Industry/University Cooperative Research Center (I/UCRC) program.  Gurbaxani will work in collaboration with researchers from NYU's Stern School of Business, the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota, and Clemson University.   The consortium seeks to partner with industry to answer analytics, data aggregation, and visualization questions associated with extracting usable business intelligence and analytics from social media.  Further information can be found here.


CDT  & CHCMP AWARDED GRANT FROM 

QUALCOMM FOUNDATION

Vijay Gurbaxani, Director, Center for Digital Transformation, and Paul Feldstein, Director, Center for Health Care Management and Policy, have been awarded a planning grant from the Qualcomm Foundation aimed at determining the feasibility and design of a research project in the economics of wireless health.

 

FACULTY ASSOCIATE AWARDED GRANT

John Turner, Faculty Associate in the Center and Assistant Professor of Operations and Decision Technologies in The Paul Merage School of Business has been awarded a 2012 Yahoo!
