The Polaris Investment Competition

 

The Polaris Investment Competition is a 52 week high-level competition open only to Merage MBA students. Teams are allocated capital to invest in the stock market. Each team must select companies worthy of their investment based upon an exhaustive qualitative and quantitative analysis.  At the end of the contest, participants are awarded scholarships depending on how they perform and where they finish in the competitive rankings. The program is sponsored by Chuck Martin and operated by his investment management group at the hedge fund, Mont Pelerin Capital, LLC.

 

In the first seven years 88 scholarships have been awarded for a total of $582,000.
