Mission, Vision and Goals

The Center for Leadership and Team Development at The Paul Merage School of Business is a focal point on the UC Irvine campus and for the global academic and business communities for research on the development of leadership and teams.

Our Mission

To create and disseminate research-based knowledge and tools that addresses the practical problems of leadership and teams in an innovation-driven global economy and contributes to socially responsible strategic advancement of the Merage School.

In fulfillment of its Mission, the Center will undertake research, education and outreach for students, scholars and organizations from the private, non-for-profit and public sectors.

The Center for Leadership and Team Development is formally organized as one of the six Centers of Excellence within the Paul Merage School of Business.
