Proteges: In Their Own Words

Rolande He FTMBA Class of 2012

The Executive Mentoring Program has been invaluable for me. Not only did it link me with a compatible mentor, it also educated me on how to learn the most from my mentor.  As a young business woman, being exposed to her life experiences has helped me appreciate the importance of work life balance and incorporate this into my long term goals. She is highly motivated and inspires me every time we meet.

Ted Hsueh FEMBA Class of 2012

My mentor made his schedule easy and himself available for us to meet on a monthly basis even though he has a very tight schedule. His enthusiasm about teaching and coaching young minds can be clearly observed from his actions: he invited me to attend several educational events, he helped me out building my resume and cover letter, and introduced me to several influential people in his field who he thinks can help me develop my business acumen. My mentor and I got to know each other on a personal level where we exchanged ideas openly.
