The O’Donnell Group, Inc. and O’Donnell Management Company
In 1992, Douglas O’Donnell started his career in commercial real estate by joining O’Donnell Property Services and later Insignia Commercial Group, Inc. He worked his way up through the companies from Leasing Coordinator to eventually overseeing the leasing and sales activities for the 25,000,000 square foot portfolio. He oversaw a leasing team of 20 people. While at Insignia, Mr. O’Donnell was recognized as a top leasing producer, having leased over 10,000,000 square feet in 4.5 years. In 1995, he was Insignia’s top leasing agent nationwide.
In 1996, Douglas O’Donnell started The O’Donnell Group, Inc. and O’Donnell Management Company. He has successfully overseen the acquisition and development of over 4,500,000 square feet of industrial and office properties totaling over $500,000,000. In addition, O’Donnell Management Company oversees the management of 3,000,000 square feet of properties and 200 acres of land development.
Douglas O’Donnell has an undergraduate degree in International Relations, a Master’s of Business Administration and a Master’s in Real Estate Development from the University of Southern California. He is on the Board of Directors for the UCI Center For Real Estate and he is active with The Lusk Center for Real Estate Development at USC. He is also a member of the Orange County and Inland Empire NAIOP Chapters and the Los Angeles Chapter of SIOR.
