The Paul Merage School of Business majors will have opportunities to participate in programs and events that will allow them to be competitive in a rapidly changing business landscape.  Students will have the opportunity to attend distinguished speaker talks that provide a forum to local business leaders.  
 

 

Business Plan Competition

 
The Business Plan Competition at The Paul Merage School of Business is one of the nation’s premier business plan competitions offering participants a venue to gather a team, create a business plan, and potentially fund their business idea all within seven months.  The competition awards $30,000 in cash prizes and also gives participants the chance to develop skills in creating a successful business plan.  This is a perfect opportunity for students to innovate and bring an idea to a group of business professionals.

Distinguished Speakers Series

 
The Distinguished Speaker Series brings a variety of corporate leaders to UC Irvine to address relevant issues and share insights.  The Distinguished Speaker Series is a program of the Center for Global Leadership and Team Development, one of the Centers of Excellence at the Paul Merage School of Business.
