About Us: What is the MA?

The Marketing Association at The Paul Merage School of Business is committed to:

• The professional development of students interested in marketing careers.
• Increased corporate community awareness of the quality of Merage students.
• Promotion and development of Merage as an incubator of marketing and strategy talent.
• Strengthening relationships with alumni in various fields of marketing.

MA events are designed to expose members to the myriad of marketing and strategy opportunities available, as well as provide a forum for strong relationship building both within Merage as well as the outside business community.

How you can get involved:

MA Meetings: An opportunity to interact with other members, listen to guest speakers, participate in workshops, and receive updates on current events.

Guest Speakers: Speakers cover a wide range of topics, including product marketing, marketing communications, strategy, high-tech, consumer goods, etc. Speaker and topic recommendations are always welcome.

Case Interview Workshops: Designed to help students ace those tough case questions, these workshops teach students the basic frameworks to use and allow them to practice in small groups.

Annual Alumni Luncheon: Attended by students, alumni in marketing and strategy professions, and marketing and strategy professors. This informal lunch setting is designed to provide Merage students and alumni with the opportunity to interact in order to build mutually beneficial relationships.

Annual Marketing Conference: This event was created so that marketing professionals, including working professionals and students, can learn about relevant marketing topics and share information in an interactive forum. Not only does this event provide speakers and workshops for the attendees, but it provides a forum for students to interact with local corporations.
