Dr. Judy Rosener is a Professor Emerita at UCI who researches men and women in the workplace, cultural diversity issues, nonprofit management, and business and government.
Dr. Rosener has written two books on women in management , and is currently working on her third which will focus on the differences between men and women in the workplace. She is also the author of a seminal Harvard Business Review Article, "Ways Women Lead," (November/December 1990).

On April 9, 2009 Dr. Rosener shared her insights on the differences between men and women and what implications the current enviromnent has for women in the workforce. Dr. Rosener views the current time as one that is very good for woman professionals. More women than men are graduating from college, women are starting companies at twice the rate men are, women are staying in the workplace longer, and the Obama administration has made women visible in a number ot key positions. Dr. Rosener also shared several areas in which she believes women are at a disadvantage to men under the traditional workplace model and offered suggestions for overcoming those advantages.
