Mary has an extensive background in marketing, management, competitor analysis and event planning. In 1997 she founded a boutique research firm providing strategic marketing and business plans, competitive intelligence, executive background checks, staff training, and special research, writing, and project management service contracts. Clients included Ernst & Young: Center for Business Knowledge, Sun Trust Banks, The Focal Point, and numerous Bay Area investigation and law firms. Prior to this, Mary served as general manager and marketing director of two Bay Area professional service firms. She is a licensed private investigator (California P.I. License #19957). She has an MFA from University of San Francisco (2003) and a BA from San Francisco State University (1988). Mary’s writing has appeared in numerous newspapers, trade and literary journals, and she’s recently published her first novel.

 With more than 20 years experience in marketing and communications leadership, Diane Sagey joined The Paul Merage School of Business in 2007 to help further enhance its reputation as one of the world's top business schools. She was promoted to Assistant Dean in 2010 and considers the Prosperitas Group one of her favorite strategic initiatives. Diane diversified a career foundation gained at Pacific Life with contributions at small and medium-sized regional non-profit and for-profit businesses plus a national public affairs agency. Having earned her MBA from the Merage School in 1999, she successfully transitioned to the high-tech industry, directing channel marketing for Toshiba's laptop division followed by global brand management for ViewSonic corporation.
