Cathleen Josaitis, ‘04,
accepted a position as Group Manager, Scientific Publication Strategy for
Genentech, starting in June 2007, in South San Francisco, CA. She would love to
connect with Bay area alumni; feel free to drop her a line.
Ann Peoples, ‘03,
celebrated two major contract wins in less than 30 days. Ann worked with SAIC to
secure a 5-year, $93 million contract to provide technical services to the U.S.
chemical weapons demilitarization program. Ann was also on the Bechtel/U. of
California team that won the contract to manage and operate Lawrence Livermore
National Laboratory- with a fee potential of $300 million over 7 years.
Rick Scrimger, ‘00,
recently moved back to Orange County from San Diego to return to Roland DGA Corp.
as the Vice President & General Manager of the Color Products Division. Rick
had previously been employed at Roland from 1993-2003.
Pam Adams, ‘98,
and Financial Consultant with A. G. Edwards & Sons, Inc. in their Irvine office
recently earned the designation CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, or
CFP®. The CFP certification required more than 1,000 hours of study time and
passing several rigorous exams. These studies concentrated on areas such as
asset allocation, estate planning, life insurance and retirement planning.
Edward Hernandez, ‘97,
was just named the 2007 National Society for Human Resource Management Human
Resource Advisor of the Year. He will receive this award at the SHRM National
Conference in June in Las Vegas.
Greg Lai, ‘88,
sold Affinity Investment Advisors to Morgan Stanley on May 1st. Greg will be
joining as a Managing Director. He will be involved in managing both mutual
fund and institutional assets at Morgan.
