A Message from Dean Andy Policano
As we begin Spring Quarter at The Paul Merage School of Business, I want to
take a moment to express our appreciation to all of our alumni. This year
our Alumni Participation in all our activities continues to increase in a
number of exciting areas in an unprecedented way.
As you may know, we have had many events here in the Orange County area as
well as a number of Regional meetings in other locations including Chicago,
New York and Washington D.C. Our next program in Orange County will be the
OC Chapter Mixer on April 23.
In addition to new programs for Orange County alums, we are looking forward
to alumni events in the San Francisco Bay Area, Los Angeles, and San Diego
over the next six months. As the year progresses, we’ll also be
visiting other cities around the nation.
Of special note is that Merage Alumni giving has increased significantly
through the Merage Fund and the Dean’s Leadership Circle. The Merage
Fund has raised over $50,000 in pledges this year. The Dean’s Leadership
Circle now has over 270 members. Thank you all for your wonderful generosity.
I have asked our staff and volunteer team members to focus on providing ever
more opportunities for Merage alumni to engage or re-engage with the school.
Your continued interaction with us is the key ingredient to our future success.
