Boston: Monday, July 13, 2009:
Dean Andy Policano and his wife Pam received a warm welcome in Boston recently from Merage School Alumni. Joining the Policanos for dinner at the Faneuil Hall McCormick & Schmick’s Restaurant were Bill Bachman (MS, 1974) and his wife, Jane; John Binder (MBA, 1981); Sou Matsubara (MBA, 2002), and Steve Raab (EMBA, 1993).

North Carolina: Friday, July 17, 2009:
The Merage Alumni Team visited Raleigh on Friday, July 17th. Alumni Director Maureen McAndrews and Executive Director of Marketing and Communications Diane Sagey (FEMBA, 1999) enjoyed a wonderful evening with Kien Tran (FEMBA, 2007) and Krishna Venugopal (MBA, 2005). Kien and Krishna recounted their fondest memories from their business school days and enjoyed hearing about current Merage School news and offered their feedback. Neither Kien nor Krishna had met prior to this gathering, but look forward to continuing their efforts of building a Merage Alumni Network in the Research Triangle Park area. Professor Jone Pearce was greeted by an enthusiastic group of Merage Alumni inside the historic Algonquin Hotel’s Blue Bar on Tuesday, July 17th. The group enjoyed recounting memories from their business school days -- and a good time was had by all. Joining Professor Pearce were Marcia Frideger (PhD, 1994), Robert Herin (MBA, 1989), Trish Lewin (MBA, 1984), and Jane Kapphahn (MBA, 1993). Thanks to Trish Lewin for her efforts in coordinating pre-event logistics, and a very special thanks to Robert Herin for his generosity in hosting this gathering.
