Don Beall Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship
This Center provides thought leadership in the important science of innovation management, acknowledging that the best way to sustain competitive advantage in today’s global economy is through superior management of innovation at all levels of the economy, from start-up phase to Fortune 1,000 divisions. This Center utilizes the expertise of entrepreneurs in the community and provides the impetus for discussion and study of key issues affecting the entrepreneurial community today and into the future. Center for Health Care Management and Policy
This Center puts issues of insurance coverage, third party payers and indigent care on its agenda to help solve problems needing innovative approaches and manage the increasingly complex health care industry. The annual Health Care Forecast Conference brings together some of the top thought leaders and policymakers on health care issues in the U.S. to examine innovative approaches to the health care demands of the 21st century. Center for Investment and Wealth Management
Wealthy families who need experts to manage and invest their resources have fed a robust wealth management industry. Center for Real Estate
A bellwether industry both locally and nationally, real estate continues to be a significant component of the global economy and an area where strategic innovation and the productive study of industry trends can be crucial to sustainable and profitable growth. The Merage School’s emphasis on the “art and science of strategic innovation” will uncover and study successful innovation at various real estate-related companies and industries.
More than $5 million from over 50 community donors enables the Merage School to offer a robust program of conferences and MBA courses. The Center also manages a mentor program for students interested in careers in Real Estate that is coordinated with the Center for Global Leadership. The Center for Digital Transformation (CDT) is one of the world’s leading think tanks on the impact of information technology on organizations and society. The Center has a rich tradition of studying the impacts of IT on organizations and society that stretches back more than two decades. The Paul Merage School of Business, the UC Irvine School of Law and the School of Management at Fudan University in China have joined with John Long, Founder and CEO of Highridge Partners, to create the John S. and Marilyn Long U.S.-China Institute for Business and Law, a bi-lateral think tank created to facilitate research and further develop vital relationships between U.S. and China commerce and law.
