The Center for Health Care Management and Policy

History

The Center for Health Care Management and Policy was established in 1988 by Professor Paul Feldstein to conduct and disseminate research on key health policy issues at the national, state and local level.  Its mission was to provide a forum through which those key issues were discussed among scholars, the business community, government and other key stakeholders. Since that time, the Center’s marquee event has become its annual Health Care Forecast Conference that started in 1992. The conference serves as a unique venue for dialogue among government, business leaders, and academics that share their perspectives and forecasts on key economic and political issues impacting the health care industry.
