The mission of the Merage Beach & Surf Association is to enhance students’ social and professional experiences by exposing them to Californian beach and surf culture and related businesses. We aim to enrich the student’s MBA experience and strengthen the Merage brand name, by organizing events that enable students to strengthen their personal relationships, to network and open business opportunities in the surf and related industries, and give back to the community.
Merage Business & Technology Association
Technology is a major business enabler in today’s world, and Merage Business & Technology Association focuses on increasing the percentage of MBA graduates recruited into the exciting world of technology while creating leaders in technology roles irrespective of the industry.
Merage Challenge For Charity
Challenge for Charity (C4C) gives us the opportunity to represent The Paul Merage School of Business in the community by aligning itself externally with three philanthropies: Special Olympics, Junior Achievement, and Project Echo. Internally, Challenge for Charity looks to become the guiding force in the effort to develop a close-knit family atmosphere/culture that needs to exist at a small school like ours. We look to involve the entire community (students, administration, faculty) in our efforts to raise money for charity, perform philanthropy, and participate in the C4C Weekend up at Stanford in April.
Merage Entertainment Management Association
The Merage Entertainment Management Association (EMA) is a student driven organization at The Paul Merage School of Business geared towards MBA candidates interested in careers within the entertainment industryfrom sports and video games to music, film, and television. Our club facilitates networking and information sessions to better educate Merage students while introducing new and exciting career opportunities.
Merage Financial Management Association
FMA is dedicated to further expand FMA club members’ knowledge of the various sectors of the finance industry and help them prepare to compete within them. We want to help students build a strong network with other MBA students interested in finance and provide a forum for students to share their experiences and insights on the most effective ways to enter the industry.
Merage Healthcare Association
The Merage Healthcare Association's mission is to advance student awareness and understanding of the healthcare industry by exploring career and business opportunities in the biomedical, pharmaceutical, and health delivery sectors.
Merage Marketing Association
The Marketing Association strives to create an environment where Merage students can grow and experience the world of Marketing. We do this by leveraging our experience, network, and knowhow to throw events, mixers, invite speakers, and case study competitions. All this is geared towards creating growth opportunities for those who are in Marketing and looking to learn more about the field.
Merage Net Impact
The Merage Net Impact Chapter is committed to growing and strengthening a network of leaders to use the power of business to make a positive net social, environmental and economic impact in the Merage and Orange County communities.
Merage Operations Management Association
The Operations Management Association (OMA) is dedicated to fostering opportunities in operations, quality, supply chain, and production management for students of the Paul Merage School of Business. OMA’s objective is to broaden and deepen its members’ individual perspectives about operations management while enhancing their professional prospects. OMA will accomplish these objectives through focused learning, exchange of ideas, and access to industry experts, faculty, and alumni.
Merage Real Estate Association
The Merage Real Estate Association (MREA) is an active, student-run organization that complements the real estate MBA program and the Center for Real Estate at The Paul Merage School of Business. MREA adds value for its student members by offering a variety of educational events and networking opportunities where students learn from and interact with local real estate professionals and alumni. Additionally, MREA is focused on creating career-oriented opportunities for students who seek careers in the real estate industry.
To reintroduce the auto industry to UC Irvine’s Paul Merage School of Business and establish UCI as the pinnacle of automotive business talent. The Industry is becoming more dependent on technology and the effects tech has on consumers. As leaders of digital dynamic transformation, this is our opportunity to help shape that change.
