Outreach

The Center presents a number of conferences and other forums of direct benefit on topics of intense interest to industry leaders in a broad range of topics such as understanding Social Security, protecting your social and financial identity in the digital age, learning about the billionaire wildcats who launched the U.S. energy revolution, and making sense of the current global economy and financial markets. Other areas of interest include:

  • Discussions of investment strategies and objectives
  • Clarification of appropriate investment strategies and parameters based on family dynamics and market factors
  • Risk management
  • Valuation methods to estimate the worth of a business and psychological aspects of family dynamics

Additionally, the Center presents annual programs for more targeted audiences.


LIFEvest Financial Literacy Program

LIFEvest Financial Literacy Program

This one-week, on-campus program is dedicated to helping underserved 9th and 10th grade students by teaching life skills in money and investment management in a highly supportive environment. Our mission is to instill a continued desire to strengthen understanding of financial matters, encourage admission into a four-year college or university, and to inspire confidence and success in all areas of life.

Investments, Financial Planning and You

This annual summer program is designed for highly motivated, talented high school students who wish to gain a deep understanding of investments and financial planning. Acclaimed faculty from the Merage School partner with industry experts to deliver a unique learning environment through a combination of case studies, group projects, on-line simulations and student presentations. The program culminates in the creation of a personal wealth management plan by each student, paving the way for a lifelong plan of financial success.

Women's Wealth Retreat

Your Life, Your Wealth, Your Legacy

An invitation-only retreat for women that explores new ideas and educates them on the management of wealth. Past topics have focused on common critical issues affecting affluent families including:

  • Philanthropy
  • Aging
  • Changing demographics
  • Owning your financial future
