  • ➤ Build Social Connections: Help others feel they belong. Share your goals and purpose with colleagues and embrace differences.

  • ➤ Mentorship and Sponsorship: Implement active mentorship and sponsorship programs to ensure diversity is integrated into the daily operations of your organization. Encourage your team to view diversity as an asset.

  • ➤ Review Business Processes: Take the initiative to rework your team’s business processes. Ensure diversity considerations are embedded in recruiting, mentorship, and career advancement.

  • ➤ Promote Diversity Training: Advocate for and invest in diversity training and education for your team. Hold your team accountable for their role in promoting inclusivity.

Alumni Ambassador Award Winner Chris Song Sets New Standard for Excellence

During the largest UCI Alumni Korea chapter event, Chris Song, MBA '11 received the Alumni Ambassador Award from Dean Williamson. This was the largest event in its history, with over 55 MBAs and over 65 Merage Korean alumni and students in attendance. Chris Song, UCI Merage Korean Alumni president, says, “This was larger than anything we had ever hosted before. It was a really successful event.” Chris was surprised to receive the Alumni Ambassador Award from Dean Williamson. “It was really an honor for me, but this is not just for me. It’s for everyone in our Korean Alumni group,” Song says. READ >>
