• Attend alumni networking events – Your fellow alumni are among your strongest network contacts; stay in touch on a regular basis to be a resource and nurture resources.
• Attend Merage School events - Expand your network to include prominent business executives that regularly attend events and hire from the Merage School. See the Calendar for upcoming events.
• Join the Dean's Leadership Circle (DLC) – This philanthropic organization is your network for success. The DLC is comprised of alumni and community business leaders with an emphasis on networking events.

Assisting other Merage School alumni and particularly current students seeking employment can directly enhance the value of your own degree. We encourage you to Think Merage First and post job opportunities at your company and review candidate resumes online through the Merage School Career Center's Recruiter Dashboard. The UCI Career Center offers recruiting options for those looking to hire an undergraduate alumni.

Merage School alumni know firsthand what it takes to be successful. Our alumni are our biggest source of referrals to any of our Master's programs. Please "Think Merage First" and refer potential students.

Due to the COVID-19 crisis, alumni auditing is paused through Spring 2021.

After you receive your degree from the Merage School, your education doesn't have to stop. Both the School and the University offer programs that allow alumni to expand on current knowledge and add skills in areas not yet explored.

Beginning Fall Quarter 2017, there are new options for MBA alumni course enrollment (“auditing”).

The Merage School offers course enrollment privileges for all UC Irvine MBA alumni in good standing, in select MBA elective courses. Please note that core classes are not open to alumni. Course availability is based on: approval by the program offices, space availability and classroom dynamics.

There are two levels of auditing; please note on your application which level you want. For both options, alumni are responsible for purchasing any textbooks and/or other course materials (either through the university or on the open market), lab fees (if required) and payment for parking while on campus. Enrollees are subject to the same campus and classroom policies that apply to all enrolled students.

1. Class access only (free). If approved, this will only grant you a seat in class. Electronic access to course material, a grade or transcript credit will not be provided. Online courses are not available for this option.
2. Formal course enrollment. ($500 fee). Enrollment will grant you:
   • A letter grade and course credit on your transcript (making classes eligible for corporate reimbursement programs)
   • Access to course material on EEE and Canvas
   • Options to audit online and hybrid courses

Informally “dropping in on” classes is not permitted. All alumni must register, no later than the posted deadline.

Check back on this website for updates. Please note that schedules, once posted, are subject to change, and space is limited. Please do not contact the professor or show up in class without filling out an application and receiving advance permission. Thank you.

Executive Education: Our continuing education component provides ongoing management education to leaders in organizations faced with complex problems in multi-cultural, technological, and competitive environments. Both certificate programs for individuals and small groups and custom training for more targeted team and corporate development are available.

UCI Libraries: Gain access to the most up-to-date holdings that are free and open to the public from all of the UCI Libraries – Langson Library, Science Library and Grunigen Medical Library – on Library Search. Additionally, the Business Research Guide is a more targeted business-related database. Please note that the resources found on the Business Research Guide are available only from computers on the UCI campus.
