The Pacific Life LIFEvest Financial Literacy Summer Program, through the Todd and Lisa Halbrook Center for Investment and Wealth Management (CIWM), offers underserved first-generation 8th and 9th graders in Southern California a free week-long, in-person experience. Students gain financial planning and college-readiness skills, create personal financial and career plans with expert mentorship, and explore business and networking opportunities.

Program Highlights
- Site visits to local companies: Participants explore top companies through tours, panels, and interactive activities.
- Professional networking: Students build connections with professionals through networking.
- Interactive learning sessions: Students engage in activities led by a LIFEvest instructor to deepen their financial knowledge.
- Social activities: After a full day of learning, participants connect with peers and advisors through social activities.
LIFEvest is designed for current 8th and 9th grade students who would be among the first in their families to attend college (first-generation).

Lead as a Resident Advisor
Are you a current UC Irvine undergraduate student looking for a rewarding summer opportunity? Become a Resident Advisor (RA) for the Pacific Life LIFEvest Financial Literacy Summer Program! As an RA, you’ll mentor and support high school students, foster a positive residential experience, and help create a fun and enriching environment alongside fellow RAs and program staff. Gain valuable leadership skills while making a lasting impact on the Orange County community!
Paid spring training with additional stipend pay for summer weeks.

The Center is looking for dedicated volunteers to support our summer youth programs. Sobre nosotros
El programa de verano de alfabetización financiera LIFEvest de Pacific Life, a través del Centro Todd y Lisa Halbrook para la gestión de inversiones y patrimonios (CIWM), ofrece a los estudiantes de octavo o noveno grado de primera generación desfavorecidos del sur de California una experiencia presencial gratuita de una semana de duración. Aspectos destacados del programa
