Building on a tradition of gender equity and excellence, the Merage School is proud to partner with Forte to drive opportunities for women in business.

The Paul Merage School of Business at UC Irvine is thrilled to announce its membership in the Forte Foundation, an organization dedicated to advancing women into impactful roles in business leadership. As a newly minted Forte member school, the Merage School reaffirms its commitment to gender equity, inclusion, and the empowerment of women in business.

At the Merage School, gender equity is not just a goal—it’s a reality. Across our graduate programs, we proudly maintain gender parity, a distinction that sets us apart as a leader in inclusive education. Furthermore, our faculty ranks among the best in the nation, with women faculty representing excellence and leadership in their fields.

"Joining Forte aligns with our mission to develop innovative leaders who inspire and drive meaningful change in the business world," says Dean Ian Williamson. "We are committed to creating opportunities that elevate and support women in business, both during their education and throughout their careers."

Merage alumni and current Forte Fellows bring this mission to life through their remarkable achievements.

By joining the Forte Foundation, the School further enhances its commitment to fostering a vibrant and supportive ecosystem for women in business. This partnership provides access to new resources, networking opportunities, and scholarships that will empower Merage students to excel in their careers.

As we prepare to celebrate this new partnership, the Merage School is already planning initiatives that will enhance the experience of Forte Fellows, including dedicated programming, mentorship opportunities, and leadership development workshops.
