UCI Paul Merage School of Business Fully Employed MBA Program Up 10 Spots in 2019 Best Business Schools Ranking by U.S. News & World Report

The Fully Employed MBA (FEMBA) program at the UCI Paul Merage School of Business has moved up 10 spots to rank 32nd among the nation’s Top MBA Programs, 19th among public universities and fourth in California in the 2019 Best Business Schools rankings released today by U.S. News & World Report.  The Merage School’s Full Time MBA program climbed two spots, coming in at 42nd nationally.

U.S. News Methodology for Full-Time MBA Programs

The U.S. News 2019 Best Business Schools rankings was based on a survey of 480 MBA programs accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB International).  Conducted in Fall 2017 and early 2018, a total of 387 programs responded. Of those, U.S. News ranked 127 because they provided enough of the required data on their full-time MBA program needed to calculate the full-time MBA rankings. The 2019 Best Business School rankings are based on a weighted average of eight indicators including Quality Assessment (weighted by 0.40), Peer Assessment Score (0.25), Recruiter Assessment Score (0.15), Placement Success (weighted by 0.35), Mean Starting Salary and Bonus (0.14), Employment Rates for Full-Time MBA Program Graduates, Mean GMAT and GRE scores (0.1625), Mean Undergraduate GPA (0.075), and Acceptance Rate (0.0125).
