Proudly presented by UC Irvine’s Paul Merage School of Business, the Certificate in AI Fundamentals is a 6-week, highly interactive online program with live instruction through weekly live, virtual sessions and hands-on, project-based curriculum.

This course provides comprehensive coverage of techniques and deployment options to design AI solutions for business applications. The course builds an appreciation for the theoretical differences and collaboration across AI and Analytics tool set. The course provides a UCI certification, and requires basic knowledge of Python and Notebooks

What is the structure of this program?                         

There are 6 modules in this program. Each module includes self-paced, online educational content. Each week there is a live Zoom session with faculty (Wednesdays, 3:30 p.m. – 4:30 pm PST). A technical facilitator will be available to assist with projects and exercises.

How many hours per week will I need to devote to the program?

6 -8 hours/week of self-paced, online educational content and 1 additional hour for the live Zoom session

Where do I get a receipt?

What are the next steps? 

You will receive an email with the course space information in the coming days. The course will be entirely hosted in an educational container which will include your coursework, materials, and due dates.

If I have a conflict and cannot attend the live session, will it be recorded?

Yes, the sessions will be recorded however live participation is encouraged.

Will I receive a certificate for this program?

Yes. All participants that successfully complete the program, will receive an official UCI Certificate.

What is UCI’s refund policy?

All refunds are subject to a $50.00 non-refundable and non-transferable administrative fee per course except when a course is canceled or rescheduled by UCI Office of Executive Education. In the event a course is canceled or rescheduled, a full refund of the course fee will be processed. UCI Office of Executive Education refunds back to original payer and in the original form of payment.
