This two-and-a-half day program builds a foundation of business knowledge and the professional network required to drive competitive advantages for your organization. It complements and builds on a year-long series of quarterly learning events, resources, and UCI’s Road to Reinvention conference.

Philip Potloff
Head of Enterprise Strategy, Amazon Web Services
Philip joined AWS as Enterprise Strategist in July 2017. In this role Philip works with enterprise technology executives to share experiences and strategies for how the cloud can help them increase speed and agility while devoting more of their resources to their customers. Prior to joining AWS, Philip held multiple senior executive positions at Edmunds.com including CIO and COO. During his 12-year tenure, Philip led the transformation of the car shopping website's technology infrastructure and product development methodologies. This included a successful all-in cloud migration to AWS that was completed in 2016 resulting in a 30% reduction in total IT expenditures. In 2017, Philip was recognized as one of Computerworld’s Premier 100 Technology Leaders for extending the influence of the technologist’s role to include digital transformation and business model innovation.
Julie Sokol
SVP of Information & Marketing Technology, Irvine Company
Julie Sokol is SVP of Information & Marketing Technology at Irvine Company. In her role, she is responsible for the overall performance and delivery of technology across the company. This includes leading and managing the Company’s technology operations, infrastructure, security, project portfolio and business support functions, as well as leadership of the Innovation team, which leverages emerging technology to drive product and process change across the enterprise and with the organization’s services and product offerings. Additionally, she is responsible for the Marketing Technology function which includes stewardship of much of the company’s digital strategy and assets.
