I gained the necessary financial and analytical skills while studying business administration at Chapman University, which served as a fantastic springboard for my career. I immediately jumped into a hands-on role at J.B. Hunt as a manager after school. I worked extensively in fleet operations and logistics throughout the difficult Southern California market for nearly a year and a half. With my experience in operational management, I came to the realization that in order to advance into strategic leadership, I needed a stronger academic foundation. A top management position where I can have a direct impact on organizational strategy and employee success is my ultimate career goal.

Xin chào mọi người — Hi everyone! I completed my B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Management and a minor in Psychology from UC Riverside. Before joining Merage, I gained hands-on experience in marketing, business operations, and outreach: from serving as an Adobe Student Ambassador to managing communications and finances as a Business Manager. The MiM program stood out to me for its balance of leadership development, business strategy, and professional growth opportunities. My long-term goal is to work in Human Resources or Talent Development, helping people find meaningful career paths and organizations build strong, people-centered cultures.

I am Armenian, born in Ukraine, who has lived in London, UK and Bordeaux, France. Apart from my academic experience, I have a working experience in management consulting, which made me sure that that is the career path I want to pursue. I chose the Merage School because of its impeccable reputation and diverse environment. What specifically attracted me to MiM is how broad it is, as it gives necessary knowledge but does not limit your options. My long-term career goal is to become a VP in a consulting company. I love numbers and I love working with people, and to me, consulting combines the two together.

Prior to joining the Master in Management program at UC Irvine Paul Merage School of Business, I had about two years of experience in law, management and operations in business, with my focus primarily on market research, strategy consulting, and brand development. The STEM-designated Master program will provide the opportunity to develop analytical and technology-oriented business skills, alongside the Capstone project which will allow me to engage in solving real-time organizational challenges. Post the program, I plan to apply my problem-solving skills and work experience in contributing to organizations that drive operational efficiency plus innovation and sustainable strategies.
