Accounting Scholars Program
The Deloitte Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing education in the U.S. To promote a diverse and inclusive student community while bolstering the pipeline of future CPA professionals, the Deloitte Foundation, in collaboration with the UC Irvine Paul Merage School of Business, is offering full-tuition scholarships for the 2025-2026 academic year. These scholarships, covering 100% of tuition (excluding books and living expenses), are available to a select number of students entering the UC Irvine Master of Professional Accountancy (MPAc) program. This initiative aims to empower talented individuals from underrepresented backgrounds as they pursue successful careers in accounting.

Who Qualifies for the Scholarship?
Selected participants must have the ability to reside in the United States and the intention to pursue career opportunities in the United States after graduating from the University.
Must be a U.S. citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident
Currently enrolled HBCU and HSI, or US accredited college or university students
Students with a minimum 3.0 GPA

The Deloitte Foundation Accounting Scholars Program (DFASP) at UC Irvine’s Master of Professional Accountancy (MPAc) program is eligible for applicants meeting the below qualifications. Students interested in being considered for this award must complete the scholarship form and submit your application for admission to our MPAc program for Fall 2025 by April 15, 2025.
Currently enrolled in a Historically Black College University (HBCU), Hispanic Serving Institution (HSI) or other accredited college or university in the U.S.
Pursuing an undergraduate baccalaureate degree in accounting from an accredited program (Note: Undergraduate finance or other business majors, or undergraduate economics or other business-related majors with an accounting minor are also eligible)
Strong academic track record; minimum of 3.0 GPA (on 4.0 scale)
Must be a U.S. citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident
Have an interest in pursuing a career in public accounting and obtaining your CPA, but not presently a CPA
To strengthen the pipeline of diverse talent entering the CPA profession, the scholarship program endeavors to consider applicants from underrepresented demographic groups
Selected participants must matriculate to UC Irvine’s Master of Professional Accountancy program for the duration of the 2025-2026 academic school year (September 2025 through June 2026) and complete such program by June 2026

How Do I Apply?
Students interested in being considered for this award must complete the following by April 15, 2025. To apply for the Deloitte Foundation scholarship, submit your application for admission to our MPAc program for Fall 2025, then complete the scholarship form.
