Student Testimonials

I had the opportunity to join a medical device start-up company as their Chief Medical Officer after a medical career in academia. I viewed this as an opportunity to partner with a company who was dedicated to improving patient care with innovative strategies in a stagnant market. I also decided to pursue my MBA for Executives degree at the same time I joined the company. This was one of the best decisions I ever made. The skills that the EMBA program at UCI has given me in marketing, operations, strategy and negotiations are invaluable.

– Karen Noblett, Chief Medical Officer, Axionics Modulation Technologies, EMBA ‘19

The UCI EMBA has complemented and expanded my leadership skills beyond patient care and integrated the understanding of the business that impacts medicine. The program has pushed me outside of my comfort zone and has been transformational in preparing me to merge global leadership in healthcare and business innovation.

– Diana Ramos, Public Health Medical Officer, California Department of Public Health, EMBA ‘20
