Undergraduate Career Services
At The Paul Merage School of Business, we are dedicated to guiding students through their career planning process.
The services listed below are designed to facilitate growth and introduce students to opportunities for meaningful work. We strongly recommend that students familiarize themselves with all of the services offered as soon as possible. It’s never too early to begin exploring careers!
The Merage School Business Administration Career Services serves as the main resource for career preparation activities to help you jumpstart life after graduation.
The BRIDGE Career Management System | Merage School students have exclusive access to The BRIDGE, a career management system. The BRIDGE is where BA students can schedule career advising appointments, search for internships and jobs exclusive to our students, register for workshops, employer events, career fairs and much more. |
Individual Advising Appointments | Our one-on-one advising appointments with career advisors are tailored to provide students with a solid foundation for jump starting their post-graduation paths. There is no "one size fits all" approach. |
Merage School Peer Career Advising | BA students may also meet with a BA Peer Career Advisor during drop-in hours. Our Peer Career Advisors are upper classmen with strong work experience in a variety of different industries and functions. |
Employer Events | Our BA students have exclusive access to employer events including information sessions, employer panels, company site visits and employer-led career workshops. These events provide a pipeline of BA talent to top employers in Orange County and beyond. |
Skill Buildings Workshops | The BA Career Services team leads interactive workshops to assist with career exploration and job and internship search. Workshops include topics such as building a personal brand, advanced LinkedIn, resume and cover letters, professional communication and interviewing skills. |
Leadership Experience and Development for Success (LEADS) | LEADS offers a select group of Merage School undergraduate students the opportunity to participate in professional development, mentoring workshops and networking events with Merage School alumni and community leaders. Students develop highly valued skills including networking, relationship building, responsibility, collaboration, communication, interpersonal skills, problem-solving, time management, personal branding and leadership. |
Merage School Alumni | As a Merage School alumnus, you have access to a network of alumni throughout our professional and undergraduate programs. In addition, you have the opportunity to engage with Merage School specific alumni groups on LinkedIn and other professional forums. |
